When disaster strikes, America looks to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to support survivors and first responders in communities all across the country. We are currently seeking a talented Geospatial Emergency Management Specialist in Washington, DC.
This position is located in the National Watch Center (NWC) Branch, Operations Division, Response Directorate. The NWC's mission is to maintain uninterrupted, 24/7 situational awareness of FEMA response capabilities, readiness postures, and all events–natural or man-made–that may require a coordinated federal disaster response. This position starts at a salary of $66,510 (GS-11) or $79,720 (GS-12). The application deadline is Wednesday, November 22.
