DHS Intelligence & Analysis Pathways Summer Internships

The DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) Internship Program is a paid experience focused on developing talented students into skilled, well‑rounded DHS intelligence professionals. In addition to their assigned duties during the summer, interns experience opportunities and training related to the Department and its components, including the U.S. Secret Service, Customs and Border Protection, Transportation Security Administration, and Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Location: The Department of Homeland Security headquarters located in Washington, DC and select locations across the country.
Salary: I&A interns are paid federal employees with positions ranging from GS-3 to GS-9 pay grades.
Commitment: All interns are expected to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer.

Eligibility & Security:
-Be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited university
-Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
-Maintain/Achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above
-Be 16 years of age or older
-Complete Selective Service Registration if you are a male applicant born after Dec. 31, 1959
