START Education Coordinator Positions

START is hiring a full-time undergraduate education coordinator and a part-time hourly graduate education coordinator.

Full-Time Undergraduate Education Coordinator: 
-The incumbent will have primary responsibility for overseeing all undergraduate programming including: the Global Terrorism Minor, Career Development Programs (CDPs), elective and general education courses, and relevant new opportunities.
-The annual salary for this position will be $35,000 to $42,000 depending on education and experience plus full University of Maryland benefits as explained here. The person selected for this position will work on site at START’s headquarters at the University of Maryland, College Park, and will report to START’s Education Program Manager, Apitchaya Pimpawathin.

Part-Time Hourly Graduate Education Coordinator:
-The Graduate Education Coordinator will have primary responsibility for overseeing all graduate program tasking including: the Graduate Certificate in Terrorism Analysis, in-person graduate courses and the development of a new, joint PhD program with Leiden University.
-This position will work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of working additional hours depending on candidate availability and workload. Salary is between $15 to $18 per hour depending on education and experience. The person selected for this position will work on site at START’s headquarters at the University of Maryland, College Park, and will report directly to START’s Education Program Manager, Apitchaya Pimpawathin.
