Department of State Foreign Affairs Research Analyst Position

This position is located in the Office of Opinion Research, Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR/OPN). The incumbent is responsible for designing and implementing public opinion polls in Latin America on political, economic, and social issues. Duties include daily review and reporting on the subject matter as it involves U.S. intelligence interests, preparations of INR Assessments and Office of Opinion Research analyses, reports, briefs, and alerts daily intelligence briefing responsibilities for the Assistant Secretary, the Secretary, and other high-ranking officials in the Department of State. The incumbent serves as a liaison between the Department and the U.S. Intelligence Community, other foreign policy agencies, and public opinion polling experts and firms in the U.S. and abroad.

Salary Range: $64,650.00 to $100,736.00 / Per Year
Series & Grade: GS-0130-11/12
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
